Queen's Composers Concert

The Queen's Composers Concert takes place in November.

This event showcases composers currently studying at Queen's University Belfast. Held for the first time last year, it included only acoustic compositions on that occasion. This year, to show all aspects of the work of the school, there will be an electronic work along with nine acoustic works.

The composers are Patricia Alessandrini, Daniel Barkley, Robyn Farah, Grant Ford, Tanja Kovacevic, Manuela Meier, Marc Tweedie, Eduard Zatriqi and Matthew Whiteside, the concert organiser.

Join them for what promises to be an eclectic insight into composition at Queen's.

The concert takes place on Wednesday, 25 November 2009 at 7.30 in the Harty Room, QUB.

For concert details please see the Calendar.
