New Play from Ailís Ní Riain

Cell

A new play from composer and writer Ailís Ní Riain is performed in Manchester.

Cell, is a drama about Hickey, a young Irish person who has not left his bedroom for the past two years and his ebullient alter-ego Mickey, who who challenges his decisions every day.

The work will be performed at the Pure: Blue, Manchester as part of the 24:7 Theatre Festival, an annual selection of newly-developed writing and acting talent taking place from 20 - 26 July 2009. The play is produced by Ailís Ní Ríain and also contains original music from the composer.
