Darragh Morgan Islands Tour

Violinist Darragh Morgan is to embark on a four-island tour in April.

Featuring music for solo violin by Bach, Telemann, Philip Glass, Michael Nyman, John Buckley and Bill Campbell, as well as traditional Irish airs, the tour will visit four islands lying off the west coast of Ireland.

The tour begins on Monday 20 April on Valentia Island off the Iveragh Peninsula in southwest Kerry, in St John the Baptist Church of Ireland, Knightstown. Halla Ronain Community Hall in Kilronan on the Aran Island of Inishmore is Morgan's second port of call on Tuesday 21 April, followed by Inishbofin Community Centre on Thursday 23 April and Tory Island Social Club on Saturday 25 April.

Admission to the concerts is free (with a retiring collection being taken) and all begin at 9pm.

For details, see our calendar or visit www.darraghmorgan.com.
