         
McKay Work for Sligo A work by Deirdre McKay is included in a concert in Sligo in November.
The performance, which is presented by Sligo's Con Brio music society, has the title 'Strings in the earth and air' and features Deirdre McKay's Variation on a theme of Hamilton Harty together with works by Beethoven and Debussy. The performers are Catherine Leonard (vn) and Hugh Tinney (pf) and the concert takes place as part of a Music Network tour.
