Recorded in St Peter's Church of Ireland, Drogheda, it includes first performances on disc of Tavener's The Ikon of Joy/Sorrow, a version for string quartet of Pärt's Da Pacem Domine, Silvestrov's Ikon, and Knaifel's O Heavenly King in an arrangement for piano, string quartet and voice. Other featured works are Pärt's Hymn to a Great City, Górecki's Good Night, Silvestrov's 'Lullaby' from 25.X.1893... in memoriam P.I.Tch, and Cage's In a Landscape.
