A Mass has been commissioned from composer Mary Kelly to celebrate the opening of a new school building at Ballinteer Community School.

Mary herself will conduct the school choir in the first performance of her Mass of St Brigid at the School in Dublin on Monday, 25 May.

Her piece for solo trombone, Mime, had a recent six-performance tour of the United States by trombonist John Kenny.
