Irish Composition Summer School 2009

The Irish Composition Summer School takes place this year from 23-30 July in Dublin.

This year's school offers an extensive range of lectures and presentations on all aspects of contemporary composition, focusing on contemporary writing for horn trio forces with optional electronics.

Throughout the course, students will receive guidance from experienced course directors Nicola LeFanu and Martin O'Leary, joined this year by guest composer Judith Ring whose specialisation is musique concrète composition.

At the end of the course, student works will be presented in workshops and digitally recorded by the Clarion Horn Trio.
