Deane Talks about Seachanges
Raymond Deane gives a rare interview about his piece, Seachanges, on 4 December. Seachanges (with Danse Macabre) is a set work on the Leaving Certificate syllabus and this public interview caters to music students and their teachers. Arthur Sealy, himself a teacher, will speak with Raymond Deane about his life and work, with particular reference to Seachanges, and will then open the floor to questions from the audience. Please note that there will not be a live performance of the work but the interview will feature DVD excerpts of a recorded performance. Both the DVD, Order and Disorder, and the score of Seachanges are available to purchase from the CMC online Shop. National Concert Hall, Dublin, 4 December 2009,10:00am. Posted: 15 November 2009
