CoMA Limerick Seeks Musicians

CoMA Limerick is looking for musicians to form a weekend ensemble in July.

Musicians of all abilities are invited to participate in rehearsals, workshops and a public performance that will include Irish premieres at the Belltable Arts Centre in Limerick from Thursday 2 July to Sunday 5 July.

CoMA is dedicated to enabling access to contemporary music by amateur musicians and runs ensembles throughout the UK, with Limerick hosting Ireland's only branch of the network.

Members of the Limerick ensemble will give first performances of newly commissioned works by Karen Power and Jennifer Walshe on the first evening of the July event. Rehearsals of works to be played during the concluding concert will be led by conductor Gregory Rose with Boris Hunka leading improvisation workshops for participants.

Details of fees, booking arrangements and further details are available at www.belltable.ie/comaweekend.
