CMC hosted a colleague from the New Zealand Music Information Centre recently.

As part of a staff exchange programme within the International Association of Music Information Centres (IAMIC), CMC recently played host to Anita Rodley, Information Services Coordinator at SOUNZ, the Centre for New Zealand Music.

Anita used her time in Dublin in October to study CMC's systems and processes in the library/archival and promotion departments. She also visited ArtMusFair 2009 in Glasgow, where she helped to staff a display stand on behalf of IAMIC.

For CMC's part, we took the opportunity to learn more about Sounz's music digitisation project, which has made the whole library of the Centre available online, and the complex IT systems behind their web site.

We look forward to futher exchanges with our international colleagues in the future.
