CMC's AMP 2009
CMC holds a further AMP cross-disciplinary artists' forum on 7 November. Organised by the Contemporary Music Centre, AMP - A Meeting Place, is designed to give artists of all disciplines the opportunity to interact, discuss and learn about the ways in which they can work together and impact on each other. Initiated in May 2008 by CMC, the AMP sessions held to date have proved a very stimulating forum for discussing new work and networking across all artforms. This year, Dance Ireland is co-producing AMP with CMC and it will be held in DanceHouse in central Dublin. All composers, musicians, choreographers, dancers and artists of all disciplines are invited to speak about their work and share their experiences in ten-minute slots. The event is free of charge and a light brunch will be on hand to help fuel the imagination and keep proceedings going! To apply for a speaking slot or to attend, contact Karen Hennessy, Promotion Manager, The Contemporary Music Centre, 19 Fishamble Street, Temple Bar, Dublin 8. Tel. 01-673 1922.
