Siobhán Cleary

A new orchestral work by Siobhán Cleary is premiered on 27 November.

Cokaygne, an RTÉ commission, will be played by the RTÉ National Symphony Orchestra under conductor Vladimir Altschuler.

The programme also includes Shostakovich's Violin Concerto No. 2 with soloist Ilya Gringolts and Tchaikovsky's Symphony No. 2: 'Little Russian'.

A pre-concert talk will be given by TCD music lecturer Simon Trezise at 7.00pm.

National Concert Hall, Dublin, Friday 27 November, 8.00pm.
