Jennifer Walshe performed a concert at the Issue Project Room, New York on 26 October 2008.

The concert took place as part of the Contemporary Music Centre's new promotional initiative, New Music - New Ireland, which also included a concert of Irish composers works performed at the Weill Recital Hall in Carnegie Hall on 17 October. This concert also featured Walshe's string quartet minard/nithsdale.

The pieces performed at the Issue Project Room are for extended voice and instruments. They were written by Jennifer Walshe along with members of the Grúpat collective and the NewYork-based experimental ensemble, Object Collection.

The concert included i: same person/ii: not the same person and nature data by Jennifer Walshe as well as two world premieres, the wasistas of thereswhere by The Dowager Marchylove, and a new composition by O'Brien Industries. Both new pieces are commissioned by South Dublin County Council through In Context 3 and funded under the Department of Environment, Heritage and Local Government's Per Cent for Art Scheme.

New Music - New Ireland is funded by Culture Ireland and supported by the Consulate General in New York.
