Spatial Music Collective Concert Seven new works for string quartet and multi-channel electronics are to be premiered by the Bridgewood Ensemble in Dublin on 26 June. The concert will be the second this year to be presented by the Spatial Music Collective, following a collaboration with the choral group New Dublin Voices. It will take place in SS Michael and John Church, Essex Street, Temple Bar, beginning at 8pm. All of the featured works have been newly commissioned and will receive their first public performances courtesy of the Bridgewood Ensemble, a freelance collective founded in 2006 whose members are based in London and Dublin. The programme will include Enda Bates's String Quartet No. 1, Simon Cullen's Triangulayer, Ian McDonnell's Lluks, Liam Grant's Meditation and Flatlining by Brian Bridges. Works by Brian Solon and Daniel Jacobson will also be performed. For further details see our calendar or visit www.spatialmc.net. Posted: 25 June 2008
