Vincent Kennedy

A concert of music by Vincent Kennedy will take place on 5 February in the National Concert Hall.

The programme will include music from commissions by the composer of recent years. The music will be performed by the Rathfarnham Concert Band and choral group Cantando, featuring soloists such as Annette Cleary, cello, Nicola Cleary, violin, Matthew Manning, oboe and Andreja Malir, harp. There will also be performances by the Tuned-In Orchestra from Donegal and Derry, and the New Ross and District Pipe Band. Vincent Kennedy will be the conductor for the evening.

'This is contemporary music that will take you beyond new horizons,' says the composer, 'music to move and entertain you.'
