A concert dedicated to the solo piano music of Philip Glass will take place in Dundalk in July.

Featuring violinist Ioana Petcu-Colan, saxophonist Gerard McChrystal and the Dublin Guitar Quartet, the programme includes Façades, ‘Knee Play 4’ from the opera Einstein on the Beach, a transcription of his Second String Quartet (Company) and selections from his soundtrack for Mishima.

Promoted by Louth Contemporary Music Society in association with Dundalk Arts Office, Louth County Arts Office and The Irish Times, the concert is at St Patrick’s Cathedral, Dundalk on Thursday 17 July at 8pm.
