Fidelio Trio Fidelio Trio

The Fidelio Trio performs a concert of new Irish music in London in July.

Following the launch of their debut CD, Bulb, in February, the London-based Fidelio Trio are performing works by several Irish composers at The Warehouse, London, on 1 July. The concert includes the London premieres of Donnacha Dennehy's Bulb, Kevin Volans' Piano Trio, Linda Buckley's Galura, Piano Trio by Frank Corcoran, and the world premiere of a piano trio arrangement of Triorchic Blues by Gerald Barry.

The performance also features Ekstase II by Benedict Schlepper-Connolly, and an arrangement of Joe Zawinul's Birdland by Frank Lyons.

The concert takes place on Tuesday 1 July 2008 at 7.30pm in The Warehouse, Theed Street, London , and is supported by the Association of Irish Composers and the Arts Council/An Chomhairle Ealaíon.
