Works for organ by Fergal Dowling and Karen Power are included in a concert by Dublin Sound Lab on 21 November. The world premiere of Stops, a new work by Fergal Dowling for pipe organ, computer, violin and double bass, is to be given by the four-piece collective, Dublin Sound Lab, at St Theresa's Church, Clarendon Street, Dublin on Friday 21 November. The concert will also include Karen Power's Cows, Coffee, Birds, Bees and a New Room, works by Karlheinz Essl, Peter Ablinger and Wim de Ruiter, as well as 'Raga' and 'Rossignols' from Mauricio Kagel's Rrrrr.... Formed earlier this year by Dowling and organist Michael Quinn to promote and perform new and established electroacoustic works by Irish and continental composers, Dublin Sound Lab also features violinist Marja Gaynor and double bassist Mercedes Carroll.
