Dublin International Film Festival—Music on Film This year's Jameson Dublin International Film Festival (DIFF) will explore, among others, the relationship between music and film. “Film is both the most influential and porous of art forms and one of the most intriguing relationships is the medium’s kinship with music,” says Grainne Humphreys, director of the DIFF. The program will showcase the contemporary connection between musicians and filmmakers including Yossuu N’dour and Irish musicians Liam Ó Maonlaí and Paddy Keenan. Film history will also be explored in Joseph Losey’s Don Giovanni and G.W. Pabst’s Pandora’s Box, which will have musical accompaniment by 3epkano. The festival begins on 15 February.
