The concert forms part of Concorde's continuing programme of live music in the exhibition rooms of the National Gallery of Ireland. On Sunday 25 May, three half hour-long concerts will take place in galleries hung with Spanish paintings and include a selection of music for flute, clarinet, violin, piano and cello by living Irish and Catalan composers.

Beginning at 2pm, the first session features music by Joaquim Homs and Albert Sardà; the 3pm concert includes Ciarán Farrell's Perfect State and works by Anna Cazurra and Blai Soler, with the final performance, beginning at 4pm, including more Albert Sardà as well as Alyson Barber's Anonymous and music by Carles Eroles.

On Tuesday 27 May in the Sala Mompou, Barcelona, as part of the city's Musica XXI festival, an extended programme beginning at 8pm will feature all eight works heard in Dublin with the addition of Judith Ring's Whispering the Turmoil Down.
