Enhanced Archival Storage in the Contemporary Music Centre The Contemporary Music Centre has reorganised its basement archival area. The substantial task of reboxing and reshelving the entire collection of CMC’s archival material was undertaken by three CMC staff members led by Nell O'Hora, CMC's music library assistant, and including our current library intern, Donal Adams.
The new facilities include archival mobile shelving and acid and lignin free archival wallets and drop spine boxes. As a result there is now more than twice as much shelving space and the scores are organised in a more coherent and user-friendly manner. This significant project has proven a long awaited but considerable success. Posted: 1 August 2008
