CMC Launches New CD

The seventh volume in CMC's CD series, Contemporary Music from Ireland, was released on 29 February.

Featuring music by eleven Irish composers, the CD was officially launched by Eugene Downes, Chief Executive of Culture Ireland, on Friday, 29 February.

The CD will be distributed both nationally and internationally to radio stations, festivals, concert promoters, performers and libraries to raise the profile of Irish composers.

Contemporary Music from Ireland, Volume Seven is jointly funded by Culture Ireland, the Arts Council/An Chomhairle Ealaíon, and the Arts Council of Northern Ireland through its Awards for All Scheme.
