The Arts Council is seeking a temporary Head of Music & Opera from October 2008.

The post covers maternity leave and is expected to have a minimum duration of seven months. The role includes heading up a team, which leads on delivering the Arts Council’s strategic objectives for Music & Opera, management of all elements of Arts Council’s policy formulation, development of initiatives, grant and relationship management in the area of Music & Opera and through collaboration with the Arts Director, the departmental management team and other staff, implementing cross-organisational projects to deliver the objectives of Partnership for the Arts.

The closing date for applications is Monday 11 August 2008 and interviews will take place the week of 18th August.
