German Focus on Young Contemporary Music to Include Jennifer Walshe
A work by Jennifer Walshe will be performed at the second Hamburger Klangwerktage in November. The ‘festival for young contemporary music’ will feature a performance of moving in/love song/city front garden with old men by Jennifer Walshe. Setting a text by John McAuliffe, the 22-minute work for tenor voice and piano, originally composed in 2001, will be included in a concert on 23 November during the seven-day festival which focuses this year on the artsong.
