Music21

The Music21 series of concerts continues at the Hugh Lane Gallery on 18 February with a performance from the a.m.m. trio.

a.m.m. tril

The a.m.m. trio seeks to challenge generic notation and explore the boundaries of the traditional opposition between improvisation and composition and are primarily interested in contemporary music techniques for wind instruments combined with the interplay of recorded and synthesized sounds.

This performance will feature special guest Sébastian Schiesser on tenor saxophone, with the Irish premiers of works by Hans - Joachim and Markus Wenninger.

The concert will take place on Sunday 18 February in the Hugh Lane Gallery. Admission free.
