The Dublin Symphony Orchestra is to conclude its year of birthday celebrations with a new work by John Kinsella.

A patron of the non-professional orchestra, Kinsella has written Celebration for a concert on 8 December at the King’s Inn, Constitution Hill, Dublin to be conducted by music director (and principal horn with the RTÉ National Symphony Orchestra) Fergus O’Carroll. It will be heard as the opening piece in a programme that also includes works by Bizet, Bach and Franck.
