A Vincent Kennedy work commissioned by Wexford County Council is now available on CD.

The composition, The Hook - A Place and A People, was commissioned by Wexford County Council under the Per Cent for Art scheme. The funding was generated from housing schemes located at Slieve Coiltia, Campile and Ashgrove, Fethard-on-Sea.

The CD features The New Ross and District Pipe Band, New Ross Holy Family Confraternity Band and members of the Rathfarnham Concert Band. It was recorded during a series of performances at The Hook, Fethard-on-Sea, Campile and in the National Concert Hall Dublin. The CDs are now available at The Hook Visitor's Centre for a small donation which will be given to the RNLI.
