A Brazilian radio station will broadcast works from CMC's Contemporary Music from Ireland CD series during March for a series of programmes about music in Ireland.

The first programme in this series (Saturday 3 March) features music by Deirdre Gribbin, Linda Buckley and Stephen Gardner. Over the following weeks, the rest of the works from Contemporary Music from Ireland, Volume Six will be featured on the programme.

Music from this CD has also been broadcast in the UK, Australia, the United States, Brazil, Croatia, Serbia and Montenegro, Portugal, Spain, Romania, Denmark, the Netherlands and Estonia, as Michael Quinn reports in his recent article.

'Musica Contemporânea' will be broadcast on Radio MEC FM on Saturdays in March. Listen live at www.radiomec.com.br/online.
