Two for Dinner for Two

Two for Dinner for Two

Music by Jane O'Leary accompanies a new play by Ciarán Taylor.

With original music composed by Jane O’ Leary for voice and clarinet and performed by Tine Verbeke and Bernie Balfe, Two for Dinner for Two is a new departure for the Concorde Ensemble. Working in collaboration with the musicians and actors, Jane O’Leary has taken all the familiar sounds of the kitchen and created an atmosphere complimenting the drama as it unfolds.

A woman and man come together to cook and eat, but they’re cooking up more than dinner. They are trying new recipes for a new start in a new life - but some things never change. Extraordinary thoughts and urges come to light through movement, music, and manipulation of everyday objects.

The show runs from Wednesday 10 January to Saturday 20 January at the Project Cube, Temple Bar. See Calendar for details.
