Composer C.S.L. Parker is currently writing music for a new feature film by Tony Herbert.

Speed Dating, a romantic comedy starring Emma Choy and Hugh O'Conor, was shot on location in Dublin. The film is produced and photographed by John Conroy for System Forty Eight Ltd, together with Adrian Devane and Hollywood producer Ned Dowd.

C.S.L. Parker also wrote the music for Donagh MacCarthy's short film Nocturne, produced by Angry Dog Productions. He recently completed his Cork Opera Works residency at the Jack Lynch Artist's House, Shandon, Cork. His piece Ships and Waltzes was premiered at the Millennium Hall, Cork, in November 2005. Cork Opera Works also staged his Songs for Seraphim and Twelve Songs for Sonya, which were subsequently recorded for CD.
