Highlights of John Kelly's interview with Steve Reich will be broadcast on RTÉ television later this month.

In February, the RTÉ Living Music Festival celebrated Reich's work in the year of his 70th birthday. During the festival, the American composer took part in a public interview with John Kelly in Dublin's O'Reilly Theatre.

'The View presents...Steve Reich' offers an opportunity to see highlights of their conversation, ranging across early musical influences, the difficult beginnings of his musical career and the place of religion in his creative life.

This programme will be broadcast on Monday 29 May at 11.35pm on RTÉ 1.
