The National Concert Hall invites young composers to submit a work for performance in 2007.
The competition is open to all composition students aged 30 or under, resident or domiciled in the Republic of Ireland. The piece should be no longer than five minutes in duration, and scored for flute and piano.
The winner will be announced during the Composers' Choice series in November 2006 and a fee will be paid in accordance with the CMC/AIC’s fee guidelines for commissions. The work will be premiered by the National Concert Hall's 'Rising Star' recitalist for 2007.
