A CD of music by composer Frank Lyons is now available, with another to be made in 2006.

Among a selection of other works, Frank Lyons' piece for solo guitar, Mnemonics, is the title track, performed by Australian guitarist Alan Banks. The recording of the 18-minute, five movement piece was also broadcast on 20 November 2005 by Australia's largest classical music station, ABCFM.

A piece for solo violin and live electronics, Rush, premiered in 2004 by Darragh Morgan and the Wired Ensemble was shortlisted in the New Media section of the British Composer Awards 2005. This work, along with two others for violin and electronics, Blitzed! and Dazed by the Haze, are being recorded by Darragh Morgan for CD release this year.

Lyons is currently working on commissions from Alan Banks and Darragh Morgan for new works to be premiered during 2006.
