Swinging Tripes and Trillibubkins

IPNM's next concert at the National Gallery of Ireland features pianist Hugh Tinney.

Ireland Promoting New Music (IPNM) was set up in 2005 to improve opportunities for the performance and dissemination of contemporary music and to introduce audiences to exciting new works from home and abroad. The first two IPNM concerts featured the Callino Quartet and the RTÉ National Chamber Choir.

In the April concert, Hugh Tinney will perform Gerald Barry's Swinging Tripes and Trillibubkins and Fergus Johnston's Éagaoineadh, as well as works by Pawel Szymanski, Tom Johnson, John Cage, Iannis Xenakis, Giacinto Scelsi and György Ligeti.

The Concert will take place on Sunday 23 April in the National Gallery of Ireland. See Calendar for details.
