Holohan’s Beckett Cycle

Michael Holohan
Michael Holohan

A work by Michael Holohan is featured as part of the Beckett Centenary Festival this month.

Composer Michael Holohan's song cycle One Fine Day is based on the shorter poems of Samuel Beckett and will be performed by soprano Anna Devin in the National Gallery of Ireland later this month.

Actor Barry McGovern will read the poems, and the concert, which takes place in association with Poetry Ireland, also includes performances of Holohan's Waves and The Snotgreen Sea.

The concert takes place on Thursday 25 May in the Shaw Room of the National Gallery of Ireland. See Calendar for details.
