EAR-Plugged 2006

The EAR-plugged Festival of Electro-acoustic Music takes place at The LAB on 8-9 December.

The two-day festival features the latest works by Irish, British and European electronic art composers including Victor Lazzarini, Fergal Dowling, David Stalling, Gordon Delap and Hans Tutchku.

The festival will include workshops on modern synthesis techniques using the Csound programming environment, improvisation and sound art. In a Saturday afternoon session Ann Cleare, Karen Power, Linda Buckley and Brian Bridges will discuss some of their works, which will be performed by the EAR Ensemble and improvisation group SounDin in the closing concert.

The EAR-Plugged Festival takes place on Friday 8 and Saturday 9 December at The LAB. Admission free to all events, and no prior knowledge of computer music is required. See Calendar for details.
