Dennehy at the COMA Summer School

Donnacha Dennehy
Donnacha Dennehy

The Fidelio Trio includes a work by Donnacha Dennehy in its third Cutting Edge Tour in Britain.

The performance takes place while the trio is in residence at the COMA Summer School in Yorkshire. COMA (Contemporary Music Making for Amateurs) promotes participation, for musicians of all abilities, in the performance of new music.

Darragh Morgan (vn), Robin Michael (vc) and Mary Dullea (pf) present an exciting programme which includes an intensely intimate work by Laurence Crane contrasting with Donnacha Dennehy's coruscating bulb.

Other works include Dai Fujikura’s unaccountable espressive, Joe Cutler’s Archie, Rolf Hind’s The Thing is..., Henze’s Adagio, Adagio, and Kashmir, by Led Zeppelin/Bill Campbell.

The performance takes place at 8.15 pm on Monday, 24 July at the COMA Summer School, Drama Hall, School of Intermedia and Performance Arts, High Melton University Centre, Doncaster, South Yorkshire.
