Composers' Choice at the NCH

Ailís Ní Ríain
Michael Holohan, Andrew Hamilton, and Ailís Ní Ríain

The National Concert Hall's contemporary music series, Composers' Choice, begins this November.

The series, entitled 'Old Age Instruments, New Age Machinery', features the work of EAR New Music Ensemble and composers Michael Holohan, Andrew Hamilton and Ailís Ní Ríain.

Director of the National Concert Hall, Judith Woodworth comments:

"Composers’ Choice’ creates opportunities for established composers, providing a platform for pioneering performances, radical ideas and new technologies."

This year's series includes the world premieres of works by Ailís Ní Ríain and Michael Holohan, commissioned by the National Concert Hall for this series.

The Composers' Choice series is supported by RTÉ lyric fm.

The series of four concerts runs from Sunday 26 November until Monday 5 March in the National Concert Hall, Dublin. See Calendar for details.
