A work by Ricardo Climent from CMC’s last CD will be heard on BBC Radio 3 on 2 June.

The Last Castrati (2004), a strikingly unusual electro-acoustic work, is one of the tracks on CMC’s promotional CD, Contemporary Music from Ireland Volume 5.

It will be played on Radio 3’s Mixing It, a programme long celebrated as a bastion of experimental music radio. It covers a wide range of styles, including left-field areas of modern classical, dance, rock and world music and is hosted by Robert Sandall and Mark Russell.
