Contemporary Music for the Irish Baroque Orchestra

The Irish Baroque Orchestra will perform contemporary music as part of the Ardee Baroque Festival.

The concert combines traditional, baroque and contemporary works performed by Elizabeth Wallfisch (violin), Gerry O’Connor (fiddle) and the Irish Baroque Orchestra. Rachel Holstead's new work for traditional fiddle and baroque orchestra, Ardee Dances, takes a central part in the programme.

The premiere takes place in St Fachtna’s Cathedral, Rosscarbery, Co. Cork, on Friday 25 November at 8.00pm. The work will also be performed in Cork, Kilkenny and Wicklow. For further information visit the Calendar.
