CMC Choral Trophy Goes to Dundalk
The Clermont Chorale, Dundalk, were the winners of the Contemporary Music Centre’s special trophy at the recent Cork International Choral Festival. This perpetual trophy, specially commissioned from young Irish silversmith Annette Lappin, is awarded each year for the best performance during the festival of an Irish contemporary choral work. Clermont Chorale under their conductor Ronan Dennedy performed Colin Mawby’s Alleluia, Christus Resurrexit. Posted: 12 May 2005
