Crash Ensemble Concert

The next Crash Ensemble concert takes place in Dublin on 31 March.

The programme includes a performance of the original modular version of John Adams’ Shaker Loops, the piece which defined a new kind of post-minimalist sound. Other works are Andriessen’s Zilver, Lachenmann’s Pression for solo cello, Kyriakides’ Seventeen and a Half and Gloria Coates’ String Quartet No. 6.

Crash Ensemble will be conducted by Alan Pierson of Alarm Will Sound, New York, and there will be a pre-concert discussion with composer Gloria Coates.
