CMC Exhibition in London

CMC Exhibition photo

CMC’s exhibition, Finding our Voice: Music in Ireland Today, is on show in London this month as part of the Spitalfields Festival.

Tracing the history of Irish music in the twentieth century from Stanford and Harty to the present thriving new music scene, the exhibition provides an informative and colourful introduction to contemporary music, and includes two CD listening posts containing an attractive soundtrack of works by leading composers.

The Spitalfields Festival has an Irish focus this year and includes performances by the RTE Vanbrugh Quartet on 7 June and by Concorde on 11 June.

The exhibition is on view at Wilton’s Music Hall. Wellclose Square, London E1 from 6-11 June and at Christ Church, Commercial St, London E1, from 13-24 June. Admission free, open only during concerts.
