Greg Caffrey

Guitarist Craig Ogden recently presented the first performances of a work by composer Greg Caffrey.

The newly-commissioned work from Belfast composer Greg Caffrey is called Deluge, Fugue and Allegro and is inspired, the composer said, by the music of J. S. Bach.

The concert, which took place on Thursday 27 October at 8.00 pm in the North Down Heritage Centre, Bangor, Northern Ireland, also included some established classics of the guitar repertoire.

Craig Ogden recently recorded two other compositions by Greg Caffrey for Meridian Records. The CD is to be released early in 2006.
