         
Arts Council Publishes Draft Strategy The Arts Council has published its Partnership for the Arts draft strategy document, with responses invited by 1 July. Accompanying the strategy are policy statements summarising the Arts Council’s position on over 20 areas of work including music, opera, and resource organisations. These statements outline draft policy, strengths, challenges, and what might be done by the Arts Council and others to address these challenges. Some far-reaching changes are proposed and it is very important that anyone working in or concerned with music in Ireland responds to the Council, however briefly, on them. Submissions must be sent to the Arts Council before Friday 1 July, by post or by email to: Mary Ellen Greene
