Contemporary music has few boundaries and can be played on almost any instrument.

To celebrate Cork 2005, The Art of Sound has commissioned a special fanfare, Bells Sweetly Sing, for Cork’s most famous musical instrument, the Bells of Shandon.

It was written and performed by Adrian Gebruers of Cobh, the foremost exponent of carillon playing in Ireland.
