Doyle at the Project
Roger Doyle is giving a piano concert at the Project arts centre on Saturday, 20 March at 8.00 pm. He will be playing improvisations around the music he composed for Salomé, the celebrated Gate Theatre production of Oscar Wilde's play; Budawanny, the silent film by Bob Quinn which starred Donal McCann; and Three Pieces for Pupils Who Don't Like Exams (one of which will be featured on The View on RTÉ Television on 16 March). Special guests will be singer/songwriter Rebecca Collins, who makes inspired use of new technology, and keyboardist/composer Trevor Knight. Other works to be heard include a piece for no live performers at all. Further information and booking: Project, (01) 881 9613/4. Tickets Visit Roger Doyle's personal web site.
