Temple Bar Outdoors Diversions summer series has teamed up with the Dublin Electronic Arts Festival (DEAF 2004) to present a series of contemporary music events under the title Urban Season.

A series of live outdoor performances of electronic music and visual art will take place on Friday July 2, 9, 16 and 23, and Sunday July 4 in Temple Bar’s Meeting House Square in Dublin.

Performers will include the Jamaican vocalist Paul St Hillaire and the German electronic pioneers, Scion.

Other highlights throughout the month include the Serverproject, an improvised electronic performance featuring Donnacha Costello, David Donoghue, Peter Maybury and Dennis McNulty; a D1 recordings live showcase and The Fear recordings live showcase, featuring the best of what these Dublin-based record labels have to offer.

New this year is a DEAFJunior workshop in association with The Ark Children's Cultural Centre, whose music video creations will be showcased on July 23 in Meeting House Square, alongside the best of Ireland's live electronic arts.
