Irish composers will be represented at this year’s World Music Days in Slovenia with two performances. Gerard Power’s Wind Quintet will be played in the town of Piran on the Adriatic coast on 27 September by the group, Slowind. John McLachlan’s Here be Dragons will be performed by Benoit Mernier (organ) in the capital, Ljubljana, on 30 September.
