Next year’s Sligo New Music Festival takes place from 27-28 March 2004 under its artistic director, Ian Wilson. As part of the festival, which will be held as usual in the Model Arts and Niland Gallery, a composition workshop/performance will be held with leading German ensemble musikFabrik, the festival’s resident group. The workshop will be led by Rebecca Saunders, the festival’s featured composer.

Submissions are invited from composers of any age and nationality living in Ireland or the UK. The deadline for receipt of entries is 23 January 2004.
